Construction Labor Law Symposium

May 2 – 3, 2024 | Park Hyatt Washington D.C.

Presented by the AGC Labor and Employment Law Council

About the Event

The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Labor and Employment Law Council (LELC) is a network of experienced construction labor and employment attorneys from across the U.S. who regularly represent local AGC chapters and member companies. The LELC is pleased to present its 39th Annual Construction Labor Law Symposium, a special professional development and networking opportunity just for attorneys and labor relations managers.

This event is specifically for attorneys and labor relations professionals who regularly represent AGC members or chapters.

More specifically, AGC Labor and Employment Law Council members, other attorneys who regularly represent AGC chapters or member companies in labor and employment matters (whether in-house or outside counsel), labor relations managers employed by AGC member contractors or AGC chapters, and AGC chapter executives are invited to attend.

While participation by seasoned attorneys has ensured a sophisticated level of discussion at past symposiums – making the event an annual standard for senior-level construction labor lawyers – the program also offers a rare educational opportunity for junior partners and senior associates to learn more about labor issues in the construction industry.

Pricing

The registration fee is $450 for LELC members in good standing and AGC chapter staff, and $550 for others (regardless of AGC membership). To check if you’re an LELC member in good standing, please consult the LELC directory or contact Crystal Yates at crystal.yates@agc.org.

The registration fee includes lunch on Thursday for LELC members in good standing who attend the Board of Directors meeting. For all registrants, the fee includes the Thursday evening reception, and both breakfast and lunch on Friday. Guests may attend Thursday’s reception for a fee of $50 each.

Thursday evening’s group dinner is open to all symposium registrants and their registered guests at a cost of $150 each. Dinner is complimentary for current LELC officers and symposium speakers using the coupon code separately provided by LELC staff.
